Gift a rainbow of solidarity to a mum you have missed duringlockdown with this beautifullyembroidered relaxed fit t-shirtby Our Kid.
We have created thisrainbow-inspired clothing with the aim of raising money for Eat Well MCR and spreading hope among families as they emerge to a new normal following the Coronavirus pandemic.
Our first-run of rainbw-embroidered pieces includes beautiful organic-cotton kimono vests for babies, grey t-shirts from age 3-11 years and adult sizes S,M and L.
We were inspired to launch the range after closing our physical shop due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and realising how important it was to acknowledge those experiencing pregnancy, birth and family milestones without their support network around them.
Tess and Kate say "It became increasingly apparent to us during lockdown that our community of customers would be missing so much love and support while they navigated family life during lockdown. We have really missed ourcustomers. The people we welcome into our shop every day from the expectant couples to the grandparents shopping for their first grandchild. The mother taking her tiny baby out of the house for the first time to the expanding families juggling toddlers and newborns who just need 5-minutes to have a breather. We wanted to acknowledge them, let them know we haven’t forgotten them. The charity donation to Eat Well MCR is our way of giving back some kindness and contributing towards the mental well-being of our community.”
Our Kid is aiming to spread a rainbow of hope that pays forward in two ways
- The first is by way of a charity donation to Eat Well MCR. We have pledged to set aside 5 from the sale of every individual item to help support this phenomenal initiative.”
- The second is in the way we hope people will embrace the spirit of this collection whether buying it for your own family or gifting to loved ones who are still so far away. We hope that our infant collection and t-shirts with their sweet embroidered rainbow show solidarity to the babies born in lockdown, the big kids who miss their friends and the mums who have done their best to hold their families together during the past 10 weeks.
